In Deep Loving Memory of Michael Jackson (August 29, 1958 – June 25, 2009)

Born to touch our hearts with your grace,
Your feet left love prints all over the place,

No one can fill your shiny shoes and glove,
Because it only fits your spirit of dance and love,

You sang to change us with four letters,
Everyday you made this world a little better,

Your music will conquer generations to come,
Your legacy is what they will become,

I moved to your soul when I was a kid,
Nobody will ever teach me like you did,

You were and still remain the king of pop,
You are the moonwalker and you could never stop,

While you leave you take a piece of us with you,
It’s your love for love that will always remain so true,

Thank you for giving us memories to hold & relish,
Your hat, your hair, and your light shall always be cherished,

It is not sad for you have found the peace you never had,
So we dance to Beat It, Billie jean, Thriller and Bad,

Even though you’re gone I know you are not that far,
I look to the night sky and see you shining brightest amongst the stars.

‘Rest in the peace that eluded you Michael, and keep the piece of my heart you stole’
